This document explains how Talkster will use the information you provide to us via this Web site. Talkster may amend this privacy policy from time to time. If Talkster does so, the revised privacy policy will be posted on this Web site, and you will have the opportunity to modify your information on file with Talkster as explained below.

Talkster International, Inc. is doing business as Talkster ("we", "us" or "our"), our privacy guidelines and processes are subject to applicable government laws.

Talkster does not send spam, or support the activities of spammers.

You have access to edit your information at any time on request to us.

We are committed to protecting the privacy of personal information of identifiable individuals.

When you use or join us as a user of any Talkster service (the "Service"), we ask for personal information that will be used to activate your account, provide the Service to you, communicate with you about the status of your account, and for other purposes set out in these Privacy Guidelines.


Consent & Information Collection and Use
By providing personal information to us and by engaging with us to provide you with the Service, you voluntarily consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information as specified in this Agreement. Without limiting the foregoing, we may on occasion ask you to consent when we collect, use, or disclose your Personal Information in specific circumstances. Sometimes your consent will be implied through your conduct with us if the purpose of the collection, use or disclosure is obvious and you voluntarily provide the information.

When you use or join us as a user of our Service, you will be asked to provide some required account information and to create your account and use the Service offered by us.

Any of the following information including your email address, location, third party service providers, and mobile phone number, collectively your "Personal Information", is required by us to provide the Service.  In the case that you choose to use a paid service of Talkster, we may also require credit card information and a billing address.

You may also be asked to create a user name and private password, which will become part of your account information.

We may use your account information for the following purposes:

• To provide the Service to you,
• To create, manage and control your account information,
• To communicate with you for the purpose of informing you of changes or additions to the Service, or of the availability of any service we provide,
• To assess service levels, monitor traffic patterns and gauge popularity of different service options,
• To verify access rights to services and software;
• To contact you using email, the web or your mobile wireless device with information regarding our  Service and other services that are offered;
• To allow you to purchase our current and future services;
• To carry out our marketing activities;
• To enforce this Agreement;
• To respond to claims of any violation of our rights or those of any third parties;
• To respond to your requests for customer service;
• To protect the rights, property or personal safety of you, us, our users and the public; and as required or authorized by law.

We may occasionally communicate with you regarding our products, services, news and events. You have the option to not receive this information. We provide an opt-out function within all email communications of this nature, or will cease to communicate with you for this purpose if you contact us info@talkster.com and tell us not to communicate this information to you. The only kind of these communications that you may not "opt-out" of are those required to communicate service-related announcements, including information specific to your account, planned service suspensions and outages. We will attempt to minimize this type of communication to you.

Information provided to advertisers or partners
We do not provide our advertisers or marketing partners (“partners”) with your information until such time as you opt in to request information be delivered by our advertising and marketing partners.

 

When using the service Free World Dialing (under this service name or other service names applied to the same service) we will play you an audio advertisement. Under these circumstances, no personal information will be provided to our partners. You may be presented with an option to receive a coupon, as part of the promotion, or to have your call transferred to the advertiser. In this case, you have opted in to receive this information and your telephone number and email address may be provided to the advertiser. However, this opt in request by you only entitles the advertiser to deliver the information that you requested one time. You will not knowingly receive further communications from the advertiser without you expressly requesting this. Further communication with the advertiser by SMS text message, email or by telephone outside the environment of the Talkster service is not covered by this privacy policy, and such communication should be covered by a separate privacy policy of the individual advertiser or marketing organization.

 

Age of Consent
We do not knowingly provide the Service to, and will not knowingly collect the personal information from anyone under the age of consent

Rights to Your Information
If you’ve created an account, you have the right to access and edit your information at anytime by signing in to www.talkster.com.

Aggregated Data
We may also use your Personal Information to generate Aggregated Data for internal use and for sharing with affiliates, subsidiaries and business partners for planning and marketing purposes. "Aggregated Data" means records which have been stripped of information potentially identifying individuals, and which have been manipulated or combined to provide generalized, anonymous information. Your identity and personal information will be kept anonymous in Aggregated Data.

User Communications
We may contact you to confirm and verify the email address collected as part of your account information. We may also communicate with you via email, text message or by phone to provide Service activation, account information, and information and services in regard to any issues with your account.

Our website may contain links to other sites and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of linked sites. Their privacy policies and practices differ from our policies and practices.

Cookies and Log Files
Cookies are for users’ convenience. We also use cookies and log files to track user information. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt the transmission of your personal information and password as part of your account setup. We encrypt the signaling communications between your mobile phone and our service network using Advanced Encryption Standard.

If you have provided us with a password, we strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. If you forget your password, we will ask you for your ID and send you an email containing your password.

Your account information is secured on a firewall protected server and can only be accessed by authorized employees of Talkster who need to have access to this data in order to fulfill their given duties.

Please remember that you control what personal information you provide while using the Service. Ultimately, you are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your identification, passwords and/or any personal information in your possession for the use of the Service. Always be careful and responsible regarding your personal information. We are not responsible for, and cannot control, the use by others of any information which you provide to them and you should use caution in selecting the personal information you provide to others through the Service. Similarly, we cannot assume any responsibility for the content of any personal information or other information which you receive from other users through the Service, and you release us from any and all liability in connection with the contents of any personal information or other information which you may receive using the Service. We cannot guarantee, or assume any responsibility for verifying, the accuracy of the personal information or other information provided by any third party. You release us from any and all liability in connection with the use of such personal information or other information of others.
